‘Distance’ is a Contemporary R&B song published by Nam featuring Marc that discusses a disputing couple experiencing quarrels told from the male perspective.
The narrative is is a messy breakup sequence that occurs between the couple where Marc is involved advising his friend on the situation. Dialogue at the beginning of the video explains this best. Not only will this be a narrative, but also a performance music video that will be carried out until Nam get's flashes of what they could've been. The last chorus is sang acapella to bring out the emotion further and then enters a reflective and somber end highlighting how he is copping that ties it off.
The visual aspect will be encapsulated by flashbacks to bring out the memories, jump cuts to show how fast it all happened, and more upbeat shots to showcase how our main character pulled himself and focuses on his friendships instead.
